James E. “Chuda” Brown 74 of Framingham Drive, former husband of Rosie(Jones)Brown died Wednesday at St. Mary’s Hospital. James was born March 18,1940 in Waterbury and was the son of the late James Willie and Louise (Petty) Brown. He was a graduate of Wilby High School, Class of 1958. He worked at Metal Fabrications,Inc for 30 years and was a retiree of Pratt and Whitney of North Haven. Chuda was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Mr. Brown is survived by his daughter Tanya Brown and his brother William Stanley (Lynell)Brown both of Waterbury. Two sisters, Carolyn (Brown) Ormsby and Geraldine “Missy” (Brown) Morgan both of Atlanta, Georgia. Two nieces, Michele Brown-Allen of New Britain and Kimberly Ormsby of Atlanta, Georgia. Three nephews ,William Stanley Brown Jr. of San Diego, CA. Shawn Brown and Derek Brown both of Waterbury. Paternal aunt, Frances Simon of Maryland. Maternal aunt ,Ruth (Petty) Snow. Maternal uncle, John “J.J.” (Marie)Petty and a host of cousins. He is predeceased by nephews ,Wayne Brown and Kevin brothers in laws Charles Ormsby and Donnery Morgan.
