Bo, 87, died on June 26, 2021, at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center. He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa where he married Opal Moats in 1961 and enjoyed 52 years of marriage.
He was a garage mechanic for Iowa Power & Light Company and a welder for MidAmerican Energy for 42 years. He also owned Westown Auto and Central Body Shop for decades combining his love for cars with a second career. He loved boating with his family and friends, any and all sports, NASCAR, and good scotch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Totty Kinney, and his loving wife, Opal.
He is survived by his children Debbi Wood, Tee O’Reilly, Ronda Ammann (Mike), Vicki Morris (Steve), and Todd Thomas, his grandchildren, Debrina (Dustin), Aubrianna, James (Danielle), Hallie, Michael, Jayme (Joe), Allie (Justin), Ryan (Cristy), and Chaz (Brittany) and eight great-grandchildren.
