On Monday, June 1, 2021, James Donald Delphia passed at the age of 67.  Born in Kansas City, MO, he is survived by his caring wife, Sue Barrett Delphia, and two sisters, five brothers, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and their children. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Don, and his mother, Joan, and his beloved niece, Lindsey, and several aunts and uncles. Jim was a caring husband, loyal friend and big brother, Army veteran, realtor, painter, businessman, property manager, and survivor. Jim was stationed in Germany for the US Army, prior to earning his BS in Business Administration from Regis University and his Colorado Realtor license.  He worked in realty and property management for many decades.  While Jim was easily a workaholic, he treasured travel time with his wife, mountain time with his extended family, fishing off his pontoon boat and swapping stories at the Granby or Foxton cabins. Jim took pride in calling himself a professional handyman and was also a skilled painter. Jim had a passion for his beloved standard poodles – Fritz whom has preceded him, and now Sophie – who is missing him dearly. Jim even worked to get his dogs registered as therapy animals and would volunteer time at Denver International Airport to allow travelers to meet and greet the dogs. Jim was fond of wearing his sheepish and oft times goofy grin when he felt he was pulling a fast one over any of his many siblings or closer friends.  Despite Jim’s mostly trim figure, that man loved to eat and enjoyed dining out – especially Sunday brunch. Jim – be at Peace.
