On August 27th 2022, James Richard “Dick” Freestone, “Barty”, was called upon to return to his divine home, even though he never imagined leaving his sweet wife, Veniece Johnson (“Vennie”, “Sapphire” and “Frickert”), nor his pride and joy, his children; James Scott Freestone, Susan “Jojo” Freestone and Jeffrey Richard Freestone (Holly).
James “Dick” Freestone was a man who would always venture first in search of safe refuge for those he loved. Therefore, our sweet, caring and charismatic; father, grandfather, and soulmate of Veniece Johnson, has begun the next chapter of his eternal existence. The gates of heaven are proudly opened for James, where he is reunited with his cherished family and closest friends. What a beautiful reunion it must be to reunite with his parents, George Alfred and Allie King Freestone.
Although we will all truly miss and forever hold him in our hearts, we must all remember he has been sent forth ahead of us, so that he may warm the hearth of all our forever home. Not to mention, he’ll surely let us all know where the fish are biting and where the greatest view of the sunset and stars reside. Our hero is once again paving the way for us, to ensure our safety through his natural guidance as God intended.
