James “Jim” Davis Varnon, 74, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2018 surrounded by his family at his home. He was a life-long resident of the Lakeview/Ringgold area. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 6 years as a Signalman Petty Officer 3rd Class.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Myra Varnon; brothers, Jerry Varnon, Joe Varnon and Phillip Varnon.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Trisha Varnon; son, Jerry Varnon; daughters, True Varnon and Leah (Milton) Huber; granddaughter, Kayla Varnon; sister, Faye Roach; along with several nieces and nephews.
