James D. Litson, 84, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017, in Franklin. He was born on August 28, 1932 in Madison, Indiana, to his parents, Melvin Howard and Anna (Poindexter) Litson.
He was an inspector for the Chrysler Corporation. When James was younger he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed sky diving and hobby stock racing.
James is survived by his son, Howard M. Litson, and four grandchildren, Kevin Collet, Joe Collet, Robert Litson, and Jason Litson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Litson, in 2003, a sister, Connie Litson-Collet, and two brothers, Bob and Larry Litson.
