James (Jim) Habeger, born September 7,1952 in Havre, MT to Richard Dean Habeger and Maryhelen (Clark) Habeger, and passed away on August 23, 2019 at Northern Montana Hospital due to unexpected natural causes. Jim was surrounded by his family at the hospital. Jim grew up in the Habeger family home on Beavercreek Blvd and graduated Havre High in 1970. After High School, Jim worked at the Swiss Inn (Now Boxcars) for a while until he joined the Army, where he eventually was stationed in Turkey. Jim pursued his career as an Engineer at BNSF Railroad. Working on the railroad for several years, Jim formed many friendships and memories that he held close to his heart. In 1977, Jim married Kay Engleson, who he had three children with; Doug, Jamie and Cory. Jim later remarried to Lisa Keller of Havre. Jim and Lisa have been happily married for over 20 years. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Maryhelen (Clark) Habeger and brother, Richard Habeger. Jim was survived by his father; Richard Dean Habeger, his beloved wife; Lisa (Keller) Habeger, his brother; John Habeger, his sisters; Sue Habeger, Jeanette (Ken) Kranz, Nephews; Michael Butts, Ryan Habeger, nieces; Kris Gulman, Cara Johnson, his children; Doug (Crystal) Habeger, Jamie (Tony) Johnson, Cory (Angela) Habeger, Austin Krzciok, his grandchildren; Jordan, Adam, Aden, Isabella, Keylin, Everly, Alaina, and Anthony.
