James Collas, 80, of Bayville section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Newark, NJ, he had lived for many years in Branchburg, NJ before moving to Bayville 15 years ago. James was a certified auto mechanic and had retired from the Reagent Chemical Co. in Flemington, NJ. He enjoyed motor sports and collector cars, and was a member of the Outcast Cruisers Car Club of Toms River, and attended many Wednesday cruise nights in Toms River.
James was predeceased by his wife, Janet V. Doremus Collas in November 2009. He is survived by his wife Lillian Fabiano Collas, 4 daughters Denise Roth of Hillsborough, NJ, Donna Golaszewski of Doylestown, PA, Diane Coenen of Mystic, NY and Theresa Haney of Reseda, CA ,3 brothers John of North Carolina, Ted of Mexico and William of New Jersey and the loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren
