James Clarence Graves Jr. peacefully passed away on October 17th 2014, at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Emma Viktoria Schneider of Machtilhausen Germany, parents James Clarence Sr., and Gertrude Graves, and Sister Marilyn Coyne.  He is survived by his 12 children Christine Sanderson, Elena Graves, Erika Connolly (John), Katherine Graves, James Graves III (Theresa), Richard Graves, (Donna) and Elizabeth Stutson (William), Jennifer Wehlen (Jerry), Stephanie Muller (Lenny), Eileen Graves (Hans), Jeannette Graves, Joseph Graves (Jennifer), his sister Elaine Bilski., along with 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

James is a graduate of Jesuit High School and Loyola University; he retired from Wm B. Reily Food Company.  He was an honorary member of the Choctaw Nation Mardi Gras Indians, a long time parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua, and he served his country in the U.S Army. He was an amazing father to all of his children; he will be truly missed, and never forgotten.  A special thank you is given to Patricia “Trish” Sam for her love and dedication as his caregiver.
