James Carney Thomas passed away September 29, 2020. James was a graduate of Banks High School in 1970, was retired with 45 years of dedicated service at US Steel where he was a respected maintenance utility man and gained lifelong friends. His hobbies included fishing, trips on his motorcycle, Alabama football and being “Pops” to his beloved granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Cleo Thomas.
