James Byron Warren, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, due to an automobile accident in Lafayette. He was born October 16, 1960, in Ecorse, Michigan, to Mariam Anderson of Gary, Indiana.
Byron graduated from Horace Mann High School in Gary, IN class of 1978. He was a veteran of the Army serving from 1982 to 1988. On September 9, 2002, he married Loretta L. Weaver in Lafayette and she survives. Byron worked as a Tech Support for Kirby Risk for years. He was a member of Evergreen Wesleyan Church in Lafayette where he was very active.
Byron enjoyed fishing, watching football and time he spent with his family and friends. In his earlier years rode bicycle in Italy on the tour DeFrance courses.
Surviving is his wife Loretta L. Warren of Lafayette and children Elizabeth (Jason) Yuill of Linden, Brina (Jeff) Simmons of Lafayette, Jamie (Robert Pride) Warren, and Jasmine Warren, Jessica Mclaughlin all of Hammond, LaShawna Warren of Indianapolis and Everett Lamas (Christina) Cox of Ohio. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and brothers, Joseph Warren, Henry Warren, Andy and Aaron Warren. James was preceded in death by his brother Barnabas Warren and his father Andrew Warren.
