Mr. James Burton Bond, Age 78, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday August 31st, 2019 at his home with his loving family beside him.
James was the last of his generation. He was born in Lewis County, Kentucky March 14, 1941 to the late John E. and Flora O. Gilliam Bond.
James was in construction all of his life and worked for the Maescher Construction Company out of Cincinnati, Ohio for years.
Surviving James is his wife of 60 years whom he married July 10, 1959 in Vanceburg Helen Conley Bond.
Two daughters- Sharon Bond of Milton, Pennsylvania; and Michelle (Gary A.) McCoy of South Shore, Ky.
Two sons- James Robert (Jilline) Bond of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania; and Jonathan David (Tracy) Bond of South Portsmouth, Kentucky.
7- grandchildren and 4-great-grandchildren also survive who will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his two daughters- Robin Nicole ‘Niki’ Bond and Sonya Faye Bond; 21- brothers and sisters.
