James Luther Bowman, 78, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday November 18, 2015 surrounded by his wife and three children. James, a native of Dalton, GA, was a resident of Ringgold, GA and an active member of Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle. Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his father, Luther Felton Bowman and mother, Sarah Elizabeth Tucker; brothers, Carl (Marion) Bowman and Clarence (Charlotte) Bowman; and stepdaughter Tammy Buchanan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 3 years and 8 months, Ann Buchanan Bowman; sons, James (Patti) Robert Bowman and Brad (Teresa) Bowman; daughter, Stephanie (Kirk) Bragg; stepson, Tony Buchanan; sisters, Shirley (Dale) Green and Louise (Jimmy) Woodruff; grandchildren, Sydnee Bowman, Bobbie Bowman, Jamie Bowman, Whitaker Bowman, Briggs Bowman, Blaise Bowman, Laci Kole Bowman, Skye Bowman, Jacklyn Munoz, Michael Munoz, Jordan (Yulianna) Bragg, Peyton Bragg, Brody Martin and Destiny Martin; along with several nieces and nephews.
