James Belton Irwin, 90, of Indianapolis passed away August 4, 2016. He was born July 2, 1926 in Indianapolis, to the late Kenneth and Hazel (Alexander) Irwin. After graduating Southport High School, Jim joined the Navy and served in WW II. Jim was married to the late Shirley (Tuttle) Irwin. He would later marry his wife of 35 year Jacqueline (Nash) Irwin.
Jim is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Nash) Irwin; children Jeff (Theresa) Irwin, Randy (Brenda) Irwin and Ann (Michael) Arnold; blended family Debbie Landers, Ace (Beth) Yakey, Steffie (Dave) Limpus, Linda (Larry) Cox, Doug (Teri) Claeson and Adele (Craig Hopkins) Claeson; nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by his first wife, parents, and sister Mary Lou Mybeck.
