James Arthur Rollins, III, 65, of Riverside entered into rest on Friday, August 18, 2023, in Providence with his family at his side.
He was born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late James and Alice (McCoy) Rollins.
James attended St Andrew’s School in Barrington and Central High School in Providence before completing his GED. He later went on to serve our nation in the Rhode Island Army National Guard. Throughout his life he was an innovative and creative artist and poet, focusing on his love of space travel by painting original and beautiful spaceship designs.
Jim was also passionate about spreading the gospel and listened to K-LOVE 24/7 until his last breath.
James is survived by his sisters; Cynthia M. Rollins, Patricia Rollins Trosclair (John), Sharon Maxie; his nieces Jennifer Rollins, Sharon Ashley, Alicia Maxie and nephew Cleophus Bernard Maxie, grandnephews SeJah Rollins – Laurent, Jada Ashley, and many extended family and friends.
James was pre-deceased by his parents.
