James “Anthony” Lynch was born on May 27, 1956 in New York but grew up in Bear Creek, NC.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maida Marsh Lynch and his father, James Edward
Lynch. While he did not have any siblings, he was a brother to many.
He was nothing short of a hard-working man as he started helping his father at an early age on
their family farm. Anthony spent most of his career at Martin Marietta offering over 30 years of
service operating heavy equipment. He recently retired and was enjoying being able to spend
more time with family and friends in the community.
Those whose lives he touched would describe him as hard-working, dedicated, a loving husband
and father whose smile and laugh was contagious. He had an amazing sense of humor. Anthony
treated everyone equally and was respectful to all. Anthony would tell us you only live once and
you can’t take anything with you so enjoy your time here and make good memories.
He loved cooking in all aspects from in the kitchen to outside on the grill. He also liked being
outdoors whether it was hanging out on the porch or cleaning his car, watching movies, going
Anthony is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Teresa Dale Lynch, his sons, Conrad Lynch
(Laurie Lynch), Timothy Lynch (Catherine Lynch), Travis Lynch (Natasha Beal), and daughter,
Natashia Edwards (Timothy Edwards); grandchildren, Joshua Edwards, Taylor Lynch, Kaelan
Lynch, Tai’Liyah Edwards, Tyson Lynch, Karter Lynch, Journee Lynch, Shiloh Lynch, Karsyn Lynch;
great-granddaughter, Amina Edwards.
