James Allen Hollen, 57, of Anderson, passed away on March 27, 2019.
He was born on December 11, 1961 in Anderson, where he resided all of his life. James graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1980. He a was a self-employed contractor for over 30 years. He was a very big John Mellencamp fan, and attended a number of his concerts. James’ pride in joy in life were his grandchildren.
James is survived by his loving daughter, Jamie (Tiyon Chatman) Hollen of Anderson; life partner, Theresa Williams of Anderson; step-children, Kaylee Shields and Michael Shields; and grand-children; Akardia King, Tiyon Chatman, Jr., Rhianna Davis, and Leiam Shields. Also surviving are his siblings, Janice (James) Smith, Jeff Hollen, Jerry (Carol) Hollen, Julie Moore, Jill Hollen, Joey Hollen, Jennifer (Dennis) Smiley, and John Hollen; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lena Hollen; mother of his daughter, Kathy Barker; sister-in-law, Kathy Hollen, and his grandparents.
