James Albert Kane Jr, 57, of Oliver Street passed away on August 25, 2020 at home. He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth Garcia.
Born in Providence, he was the son of James and Virginia (Arruda) Kane. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Amanda Macetta of Arizona and Sara Kane of East Providence and grandson Max Mendez. He was the stepfather of Crystal Corrao of Westport, Nicole Carrao of Westport and the late Sondra Luminello and step grandfather of Jacob Corrao, Samuel Corrao and Sondra Carrao. He was the brother of Jennifer Macetta and the late Judith Dallaire and Janice Cadman.
Mr. Kane was a graduate of East Providence Vocational High School and self employed for 22 years doing plastering and drywall installation. He loved to spend time on the water fishing, crabbing and quahogging.
