James C. Abele, of Cape May, NJ, formerly of Burlington, entered into rest August 9, 2015 at the age of 76. He was a successful artist, and musician. He was the long time owner of Abele Construction. He loved to walk the beaches of Cape May, looking for inspiration for his paintings. James was a Former President of the Cape May Art League and a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club.
He was also a member of Knights of Columbus. James is preceded in death by wives Stephanie and Dorothy. He is survived by his children James, Linda (Mark) Bruno, Theresa (Greg) Du’Aime and Thomas (Jacqui), 6 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his loving companion Elizabeth Centifonti, brothers John, George “Bud”, Bill and their spouses, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
