James A. Wilson, 71, Anderson, died July 11, 2008 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born February 5, 1937 in Anderson, and lived in this area all of his life. A retired truck driver from Stoops Trucking Co.; he had served with the United States Air Force. He was a member of DAV and American Legion Post #127 in Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Wanda Nichols Wilson; daughter, Tina Campbell; son, Kim Seese & wife, Trudy; brother, Clifford & wife, Della Wilson; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, David Judd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter W. & Elizabeth Strickler Carroll; adoptive parents, Herman & Rosie Wilson; and a stepmother, Dorothy Carroll.
