He is predeceased by his brother Darius Taylor, his maternal grandmother Elizabeth Bennett, his maternal grandfather Jerry Bennett Jr. and his paternal grandfather Franklin R. Taylor Sr. He is survived by his mother Patricia A. (Bennett) Taylor, his father Franklin R. Taylor Jr., his sister Alexia M. Taylor, paternal grandmother Delois Johnson (Robert), and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jalen was a kind and loving person who’s smile could light up any room.
Jalen was educationally gifted and excelled in academics. He was enrolled at the University of New Mexico, School of Engineering, where he was pursuing a degree in Computer Science. When not studying, Jalen spent much of his free time skateboarding, which was his passion.
