Jake was born on July 4, 1967, in Independence, MO, the son of John D. and Beverly (Nielsen) Lapour.
He graduated from Madison High School in 1985.
On September 4, 1993, Jake married Angie Schroeder in Madison. The couple made their home in Madison.
Jake had been employed Winnelson, Murryâs Plumbing, and Ganskow Construction. He drove for Porter Construction for nearly twelve years. At the time of his death, Jake was a bartender.
He enjoyed hunting, baseball and football.
Jake is survived by his wife and their children, Cara Lapour and Curtis Lapour, all of Madison;his parents, John D. Lapour, of Missouri, and Beverly Kuchar, of Madison; three brothers, John C Lapour and his wife, Janet, of Omaha, Joel Lapour, of Madison, and Jerry and Candy Lapour, of Ozark, Missouri; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Wilma Nielsen and John E. and Anna Lapour; and his step father, Floyd Dean Kuchar.
