Jaiden Andrew Allen, 14, of Peru, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021. Jaiden was born April 18, 2006 in Arlington Heights to Andrew and Sangita (Patel) Allen. He attended Northview Elementary School, Parkside Middle School and he was currently a freshman at LaSalle-Peru High School. Jaiden was very interested in activism and enjoyed reading, video games, and listening to podcasts and music from all genres.
He took joy in performing and was active at Stage 212 in LaSalle and appeared in many musicals while a student at Parkside Middle School. He also played little league baseball and enjoyed the time spent with friends on the diamond. Many people loved keeping up with Jaiden’s antics on Facebook, including routinely missing the school bus. He especially enjoyed embarking on all kinds of adventures with his best friend, Nora Maier.
Survivors include his parents, Sangita Allen of Peru and Andrew Allen of Bettendorf, IA; his sister, Alina Allen of Peru; his maternal grandparents, Ramanbhai and Kusumben Patel of Bloomingdale; his paternal grandmother, Jane Austgen of Omaha, NE; his paternal step-grandmother, Billie Greenwood of Davenport, IA and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Allen, whom he deeply loved.
