Obituary of Jacqulyn Kay DuPeron

DUPERON (Murray), Jacqulyn (74) of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. Jacqulyn Kay Murray was born March 14th, 1945 to John Phillip and Margaret (Schmeider) Murray, who surely greeted her along with grandparents as she transitioned to heaven. Jackie is survived by three brothers; John P Murray, Michael (Teresa) Murray, and Patrick (Shawn) Murray as well as nieces and nephews. She was a mother to six children: Tammy (David) Bernier, Terry (Shawne) Duperon, Jeffrey (Jenny) Duperon, Laura (David) Wagoner, Michael (Kaitlyn) Duperon and Julie (Duperon) Figard. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were precious to her: Sarah (Peter) and Miles (who predeceased her), Sophia and Solomon, Katy (Todd), Ella and Ryan, Justin (Alison), Olivia and Penelope, Josh (Hayley), Grace, Claire and Charlie, Rachel (Kyle), Misha and Ava, Autumn (Jesse), Draken and Brielle, Aaron (Pietro), Ethan, Chloe, Jacob and Anamaria, Jessica and Dominic, Emily, Ashley, Russ, Ron (Maria), Kathleen (Sean) and Charlotte, Michael, Noah, Elijah, Aaron, and Owen.

After Jacqulyn’s high school diploma, she graduated with a LPN Nursing degree and worked at St. Mary’s Hospital as well as home health care. Her crowning glory was her consignment shop, New Shiloh in Saginaw, where she loved nothing better than finding a deal and delivering her bargains to her customers. As a devout Christian, she also used her business as a ministry if a prayer or encouragement was needed. An avid book collector, lover of vintage clothing and jewelry, as well as a rummage sale enthusiast, Jackie loved to have beautiful things around her. And never underestimate her passion for both Cheetos and Orange Soda!
