Jacques Riley Seay Sr., 56, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, in Ainsworth, IA.
He was born Oct. 2, 1960, the son of Riley and Alyce Ross Seay. He married Debra Lynn Wilson on Dec. 24, 1987, and she preceded him in death on June 11, 1990.
He is survived by two daughters and one son, Julia Orr of Swansea, and Jacques (Jovonya) Seay Jr. and Claudia (Dominique) Gaffney, all of Jacksonville; ten grandchildren, Tyron, Mo’Nayezia, Mon’Teria, Mon’Tiara, Ja’Neisseya, Jahiem, Jacques III, Javontez, Debra and Janay; his mother, Alice Ross of Jacksonville; two sisters, Doris Ross of Jacksonville and Cherryl Tracy of Springfield; special companion, Renita McGee-Seay of St. Joseph, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Seay was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, when he was not on the road.
