She had a long and distinguished career in nursing serving patients at Newnan Hospital, Tannner Hospital and ended her career as a hospice nurse. Jackie was a woman who carried her caring spirit into her personal life as she balanced a career with being a wife, mother and her favorite role as a doting grandmother. She cherished the quiet times of life and adored the serenity of her escapes to the mountains of Georgia and the Carolinas. In addition to her parents, Jackie was predeceased by her siblings Florrie and Ellen, as well as her husband Paul Eugene Beard, Jr. Surviving Jackie are her children Lisa Lafoy of Lawrenceville, Sharon Cleland of Villa Rica, Lori Jacks of Douglasville and Young Malcom of Newnan.
