Jacque was born on March 12th, 1956 in Montgomery, Alabama to her loving parents Louise and William Fike. She grew up in Lakeland surrounded by family and friends. She was very fond of the time she spent at Auburn University, but she could never be far from her family. Jacque built a home right next door to her parents and two streets down from her sister, where she lived close to family until her death.
Jacque is remembered for her giving nature, her dedication to family, her love of animals, her unmatchable cooking, and so much more. She was a voracious reader who loved walking with her toes in the surf, shelling along the beach shore, and watching the wildlife anywhere she was. She enjoyed talking with family and friends, listening to many different genres of music, and exploring her incredible creativity. She loved to laugh with everyone and her humor was often sarcastic in the best of ways. Above all, though, Jacque is as she always was, defined by her heart and her infinite love.
Thank you to family and friends who have shared love, support, and comfort during this difficult time. Thank you, also, to everyone who gave Jacque gifts of joy, honor, solace, and love in her life, as well as to everyone who honored the gifts Jacque gave so freely. She will be forever with us.
