Jacquelyn Ann Simonds, age 62, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at East Jefferson Hospital. Beloved daughter of Lloyd G Simonds and the late Lorayne Taliancich Simonds. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Captain Peter and Josephine “Nannie Jo” Taliancich and Louis and Louise Ney is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Hank Mills, and her nephews Matthew and Michael Mills. Also her “honorary” siblings Sandra Sumich, Pat Taliancich and Larry Taliancich and her dear Uncle Mannie Taliancich. She will be missed by her large extended family of cousins, surrogate nieces, nephews, aunts and her numerous friends.Through a life filled with adversity having contracted polio at age 6, she always lived the philosophy of “I CAN”.
