Jacqueline Kay Jensen was born October 26, 1950 in Ames, Iowa to James and Bette Jensen.  Jacque was number three of seven children, with three sisters and two brothers.

Jacque moved to Arvada, Colorado in 1961.  She attended Arvada High School, where she was a twirler.  She attended college at Colorado State University, where she joined the sorority Pi Beta Phi, and obtained a degree in microbiology.  She worked at St. Luke’s hospital in the hematology lab as a medical technologist.

In 1972, she ran into Dave Abrams who attended Arvada High School with her.  Their love story began, and November 23, 1974 Dave and Jacque became one as husband and wife.  Jacque was a proud police wife, with unwavering loyalty and support for the love of her life.  Dave and Jacque have four children, Aaron(Stefanie), Mark(Amber), Alison(Vince) and Christine.  Jacque (with the help of Dave) raised her children to have a serving spirit, teaching them that through serving others, they are serving the Lord.  This guidance led to all of her children’s careers to be geared toward serving others.  Aaron and Mark are Denver Firefighters, Alison is a teacher, and Christine is a Denver police officer.

Jacque is Owo (Oh Wonderful One) to her GB’s, Rylee, William, Joseph Abram, Ayla, Boaz, Declan and another on the way.  Jacque’s greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren.

In November of 2019, Jacque was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma.  She displayed unwavering faith in the Lord during her battle with cancer.  Jacque’s strength, toughness, and love for her family allowed the blessing of 18 extra months to be with her. On May 9th, 2021 surrounded by her devoted husband and adoring children, Jacque entered the Kingdom of Heaven and met her Creator.

Jacque was a Godly woman, devoted wife, loving mother, silly Owo, sweet friend, prayer warrior, faithful servant, quiet fighter, fierce comforter, who had an encouraging spirit and a blessing to all whose lives were touched by her.  Jacque started as oh wonderful one, but we realized she was OUR wonderful one, who will be deeply missed.
