Jacqueline Elaine “Jackie” Skidmore, 76, of East Palatka, passed from this life on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at AdventHealth Palm Coast following a brief illness. She was a resident of Putnam County and had worked as a manager of East Palatka Fruit Market. Jackie was able to enjoy a lifelong dream of owning a red brick house on the river and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed flower gardening and crossword puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Charles “Chuck” Alfred Skidmore, parents, Plezzie and Annie Mae Wilson, twin brother, Jack Wilson, brother, Junior Wilson, and sister, Margie Craig.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Fleetwood (Keith) of East Palatka, Marge Hay (Mike) of Jacksonville, siblings, Ann Lauramore-Smith and Mikel Wilson, 4 grandchildren, C.J. Fleetwood, Amber Hall, Kenny Keene, Jr., and Krystal Howell as well as 7 great-grandchildren.
