Jacqueline D. “Jackie” James, 51, of Cogan Station, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Born March 4, 1966 in Williamsport, she is a daughter of the late John D. Mosso, Sr. and Lois M. (Gower) Mosso of Cogan Station. 

Jackie was a 1984 graduate of Williamsport High School. She most recently worked in the OBGYN office at UPMC Susquehanna-Williamsport, and was also employed at Liberty Mutual Insurance for more than 20 years.

Jackie was a member of St. Michaels Lutheran Church and the Red Run Hunting and Game Club. At an early age she found a love for horses which carried on throughout her life. You could find her most days loving on her horse Jazzy, saddled up and out for a ride. She enjoyed patronizing local establishments with Dave, taking trips to the wineries and Canada, floating in the pool, watching NASCAR races, and walking, especially with Luke, the dog.

Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons; Dakota M. James of Jersey Shore and Dylan M. James (Marissa) of Cogan Station; her significant other David A. Mundrick, of Cogan Station; a sister; Theresa L. Miller of Linden; two brothers, John D. (Cheryl) Mosso, Jr., of Cogan Station and Thomas W. Mosso, of Linden; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends who loved her immensely.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Michael W. James on December 1, 2002.
