Jacob Robert Derrickson, 15, died Monday July 1, 2013 in Franklin.
He was a resident of Greenwood. Jacob will be remembered by his big smile, funny, kind heartedness, his love of skateboarding, respectfulness. He also had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of his two snakes. Most important, Jacob will be remembered for the love he had for all his friends who have stated “Gone but not forgotten”.
Survivors include his father, Robert Derrickson of Anderson, mother, Renee Filkins and step-father, Terry Shireman both of Greenwood, sister, Angelique Shireman of Greenwood, two brothers, Nicholas and Joshua Derrickson both of Anderson and grandparents, Christine and Brian McGrath and Chester Filkins all of New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Patricia and Paul Derrickson.
