Jacob was born in Des Moines at Mercy Hospital on December 16th, 1991 the first son of Scott and Shelly Farnsworth. Jacob lived his life in Des Moines. Jacob left this world on August 11, 2021, at home.
In the summertime, you could find him by the water fishing. He was always down for a good political debate, he would always listen to you even though he didn’t agree.
Jacob is survived by his dad Scott Farnsworth (Marlena) of Des Moines; Mother, Shelly Farnsworth of Altoona; Brother, Justin (MacKenzie) of Des Moines; Grandmother, Pam Elwood of Pleasant Hill; Grandpa, Jerry Elwood of Mitchellville; Grandparents, Craig and Linda McCool of Runnels; and many other friends and relatives. He was proceeded in death by his Grandfather, Ralph Farnsworth; Uncle, Doug Farnsworth; Great Grandmother, Betty Mayse; and longtime Girlfriend, Alyssa Guinn.
Jacob loved animals and he had a taste for fine clothing. He was a free thinker in his own right. He loved to get everyone in the family together sometimes he would even show up before mealtime. Jacob was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was really a joy to be around.
