Jacob Kyle O’Dell, 37, of Meridian, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at his home.
Jacob was born on December 31, 1975 in Traverse City, Michigan a son of Gary and Laura (Lounds) O’Dell.
He attended Linder Elementary School, and graduated from Meridian High School in 1994. He graduated from ITT Tech in 2000 with an associate in science degree for electronics. He moved to Idaho from Michigan at age 4 and loved to spend his summers at Eagle Island State Park.
Jacob enjoyed playing his trombone in middle school, marching band in high school, and the Blue Thunder Marching Band for Boise State University. He participated in the “one more time with style band” for the Boise River Festival.
He is survived by his mother, Laura O’Dell; his father Gary O’Dell; two brothers; one half-brother; one niece and four nephews, and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins in Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides, and a couple of aunts and uncles.
The family would like to thank the staff at M.S.T.I St. Luke’s Meridian, and Horizon Hospice and Home Health.
