Jacob Kyle Davis, 15, of Crestwood, passed away on April 3, 2016.
He was born at Ft. Sill in Lawton Oklahoma on July 5th, 2000. He was raised in a Military family and had the opportunity to live across the United States and Germany.
Jacob was a student at South Oldham High School where he swam as an eighth grader, but as a freshman he found his passion when he joined the Marching Band. He was able to find his niche in the band family. He was most at ease amongst the band members and found people with the same passions that he enjoyed. He was a member of Troop 167, Crestwood and had recently achieved the Order of the Arrow.
Jacob was also a wonderful pianist. He started taking Piano lesson in 2nd grade. When his family moved to Oldham County in 2011 he began studying Piano at the Oldham County Arts Center. For the last 3 years he attended the Steven Foster Music Camp where he not only enjoyed his piano music, but also developed other close friendships.
It seemed to be Jacob’s gift to bring people together from different parts of his life.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Dawn and Dale Davis; a sister, Stephanie Davis; and a brother, Nathan Davis.
