“There’s space for a paper airplane race in the eye of a hurricane.” -BR

Jacob “Jake” C. Guyon was a man filled with infinite kindness. Jake was an artist, writer, musician, teacher, activist, and community volunteer. Jake made everyone in his life feel welcome whenever he was around. He had an electric smile and could be counted on to be a true friend, no matter the circumstances. His love for punk rock culture and community permeated his everyday life, and he always stood up against any injustices he saw in the world, in other words, he never backed down from standing up for others who needed their voices heard or elevated. He was a loving friend, brother, son, and husband.

As soul mates and friends, Jake and his wife April created a loving home together full of cherished pets and laughter.

He is survived by April Jipson (Wife), John Guyon (Father), Betsy Guyon (Mother), Sarah Guyon (Sister), Emily Guyon (Sister) and John Gardner (Grandfather).
