He felt the warmth of Gods arms around him, and then he heard him say “come with me”. On December 5, 2016 Jacob C. Rhodes was released from his earthly obligations. He passed away at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born in Whitefish, MT, on July 16, 1949. As a child he attended the Whitefish Schools.
After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps “N” Company 2nd Battalion-2nd Infantry Training Regiment Camp in Pendleton, California May of 1968.
His passion was for wood working and structural home building. His last place of employment was at Applied Materials where he retired from.
He is preceded in death by his long time companion Julie Toth, biological father William Weber; adopted father Frank Rhodes; mother Laura Rhodes; brothers Bernard Rhodes and Edward Rhodes and sister Brenda Rhodes.
He is survived by his daughters Starla Kay Rhodes (Pat Como) of Lengby, MN and Christina (Steve) Huschle of Bagley, MN; grandsons Jonathon Erickson, Zachary Como and Darrin Huschle; granddaughters Renae Huschle, Jamie Huschle, Amanda Huschle, and Melissa Huschle; great grandson Jacob Como; siblings Anita Rhodes , Virgil (Elma) Rhodes both of Columbia Falls, MT, Teresa (Richard) Wassmer of Whitefish, MT, Wesley (Debbie) Rhodes of Kalispell, MT, Donald (Marie) Rhodes of Kalispell, MT, Albert (Theresa) Rhodes of Roosevelt, UT and Calvin (Brenda) of Whitefish, MT.
