Jacob Allan “Jake” Neff, 31, of Central City passed away peacefully at his home with family on Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born July 24, 1987 in Vandalia, son of Richard “Richie” Neff, Jr. and Resa (O’Brist) Neff.
He is survived by his parents: Richard “Richie” Neff, Jr. and wife Resa of Central City; a daughter: Grace Richelle Neff of Central City; a brother: Joshua Cole Neff of Central City; grandparents: Harold O’Brist, “Jr”. and wife Hazel “Sis” of Central City and Cherry Neff of Central City; three aunts and an uncle: Julie Martin and husband Troy of Centralia, Megan Neff of Central City, Jay O’Brist and wife Gayla of Central City, and Deanna Purcell and husband Adam of Salem; special cousins: CiCi O’Brist, Mitchell Martin, Hunter Martin, Maddox Neff, Elizabeth Warren, Bentlee Warren, Myles Mattingly, Danny Jones and wife Bethany and Family of Ashland City, TN, Linzi Henson Swickard and sons: Jayden and Hudsyn, Vicki Ingram and husband Dave.
Many numerous great aunts, uncles, and other cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpa: Richard Neff, Sr., an uncle: Michael Neff, and two cousins: Lauren Little and Zakary “Bo” Henson. Jacob worked as a Carpenter and Project Manager at O’Brist Residential Restoration and Renovation. His world revolved around his daughter, Grace. She was his everything. Spending time with his brother, who was his best friend and his cousins, Linzi, Hudsyn and Jayden. Jacob had a big heart and would help anybody.
He had a very strong faith in his Lord and Savior and traveled on mission trips.
