Jackson D. Jack Taylor, 71, of Jacksonville, IL died November 6, 2008 at Jacksonville Convalescent Center in Jacksonville.
He was born January 30, 1937 in Anna; the son of William and Dolly Kathleen Crestman Taylor. He married Christina Wilson in 1967 at Canton, IL and she survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Ann Moreno (husband, Roque) of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Roque Moreno Jr. And Ramona Moreno; a great granddaughter, Meliana Delvalle; several brothers and sisters including, Robin Taylor, Elizabeth Lisa Timmons, Jeneanne Marble, Marsha Harper, Madonna Griffith, Robert Taylor, Peter Taylor, William Taylor, and Ernest Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Peterson.
Mr. Taylor served with the US Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He was a brick layer and auto mechanic in Canton prior to becoming disabled.
