Jackie Wallace Carder 81, of Ferndale, MD, passed away Thursday February 6th, 2014 at his home from natural causes. He was born December 1st, 1932 in Salem, WV, son of late Goldie and James Carder. Jack graduated from Salem High School, attended Salem College. He was in the Army and served in Korea. Jack was an installer for AT&T and lived in Maryland for over 50 years. Loving husband of the late Helen G. Carder. He is survived by two daughter’s Tammy Simering and husband Ron, Denton, MD, and Melissa Walker and Husband Aaron, Halethorpe, MD; four grandchildren Jamie Simering, Amanda Teague, Mason Walker and Madison Walker; five great grandchildren Lacy, Hailey, and Avery Simering, and Reagan and Brycen Teague. Loving Brother of Ronald Carder and wife Patricia of Salem, WV, and June Fudela, Johnstown, Pa.; brother-in-law, Dick Stine; and nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Stine; brother-in-law Ronald Fudela and nephew Eric Fudela.
