Jackie Turner Sr., lovingly known as “Big Jack”, passed away on November 26, 2022. He was born on December 17, 1947 to the late William Turner and Emma Watts. Jackie was a United States Army Veteran and he worked at Lockheed as an engineer. Jackie was known to be an honest, giving man who really enjoyed helping others. He was a mentor to many and he touched countless lives. He was always lending a hand or an ear to others and many referred to him as ‘Dad’. His most important job was being a father. He took great pride in being there for his children and family. He coached them in sports, taught them to stand up for what is right, and to fight for what you believe in. Jackie was a loving father and grandfather who would do anything for his family. He was very loved and he is going to be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Jackie is preceded in death by his sister, Lynda Green and nephew, David Green. He is survived by his children, Marti Turner, Sherry Bennett, Jackie (Jessica Olinger) Turner Jr., Alberto Turner, Roberto Turner, Marco (Lauren) Turner, Esai Turner; his wife, Bertha Mendivil; his brother, Billy Turner; his sister, Theresa Turner; his grandchildren, Siarra Morris, Jackie Turner III, Jasmine “Lil Mama” Turner, Bentley Turner, Camden Turner, Isabella Turner, Easton “Porky” Turner, Lexi Turner, Leah “Bunny” Turner, Ashlyn Watts, and Josh Watts; and his nephew, Derek (Debbie) Green.
