Jackie (Jack) Lee Suppa, 66, of Worthington, WV died suddenly June 7, 2011 while on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born August 2, 1944 at Four States, WV, the son of the late Tony and Hazel (Hawkins) Suppa. He was a 1963 graduate of Monongah High School. On August 13, 1965, he married Donna McGinnis. He worked as a machinist at several machine shops in Harrison and Marion County, the most recent being J&S Machine, Fairmont and retiring from Alcan/Novelis in Fairmont. Mr. Suppa was a U.S. Army veteran having served from December, 1963 – December, 1966, he spent 1 1/2 years of this time in Germany. Jack was very proud of being a veteran. He was a Christian and faithfully attended Wyatt Union Fellowship Church. His activities included attending church, exercising regularly at Fairmont Fitness, enjoying time spent with family, golfing with friends since retirement, and being an avid Mountaineer fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Suppa and brother-in-law, Frank Renick. He is survived by his wife, Donna Suppa of Worthington; two daughters, Melissa Dawn Knotts and husband Bruce of Meadland Community, Taylor County, Christina Renee Tucker and husband Jeff of Meadland Community, Taylor County; five grandchildren and five of his most favorite people, Jensen Avery Tucker, Landon Elijah Tucker, Audra Rachelle Knotts, Brylee Nicole-Marie Knotts, and Corbin Anthony Knotts. Additional survivors include his brother, Tony Suppa and wife Betty of Vienna, WV; two sisters, Edith Renick of Akron, OH, Shelby Lowther and husband Sam of Akron, OH; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Roy Sandy of Enterprise, WV; sister-in-law, Carol Sue Suppa of Denton, TX; and many nieces and nephews of whom he was very fond.
