Jackie L. Matlock II, 38, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 11:58 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. He was born on July 15, 1977 in Peoria, IL to Jack L. and Annetta R. (Rutz) Matlock.
Surviving are his children Austin Burns of St. Charles, MO, Jaelyn Matlock and Daniel Murdock both of Bartonville; mother Annetta (Patrick) Carrigan of East Peoria; father Jack (Willadean) Matlock of East Peoria; siblings Daniel (Kristal) Meyers of Traverse City, MI, Jennifer Cousins of Chillicothe, Shelli Meyers, David Meyers, Joseph Matlock-Carrigan and Eydra (Chris) Nannie all of East Peoria; girlfriend Tracy Gutierrez; several nieces and nephews; and his cats Harley and Onyx.
Jackie last worked for the family business at Carrigan’s Pub, in East Peoria, IL. He also worked construction for many years. He was an avid pool player, playing in many pool leagues. He was a loyal Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Reds fan. He loved to fish, listen to country music, and had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
