Barbara Jacqueline Jackson, known to her family and friends as Jackie, went home to be with the Lord on November 12th, 2022, at age 88. Jackie was born to Jesse and Lucile Harrington on July 6th, 1934, in Atlanta, GA.
She grew up in Atlanta and married Lloyd Andrew Jackson on May 18th, 1951. Together they purchased a home in Austell and raised 2 children, Reggie and Barbara Jackson of Hiram, GA, and Donna and Jess Wilhelm of Woodstock, GA.
Jackie loved and adored her four grandchildren: Jesse and Jessica Jackson of Round Rock, Texas, Jessica and Derrick Busby of Dallas, GA., Steven and Sara Woodall of Cumming, GA., and Mike and Marilla Woodall of Ball Ground, GA. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren: Ashlie, Taylor, Makayla, Kayce, Memphis, Wyatt, Annalee, Katelyn, and Walter., and one great-great-granddaughter, Amaryllis.
Jackie was devoted to her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed. Her loving heart was a blessing to us and all who knew her.
