Mr. Jackie Franklin (Jack) Hodges, age 70 , of Salisbury, North Carolina, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Genesis ElderCare.
A son of the late Columbus Jackson (Jack) and Geneva Lowe Hodges, he was born February 20, 1941, in Martinsville, Virginia. When he was twelve years old, he moved with his family to Norfolk, Virginia, and then graduated from Norview High School in 1959. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond in 1963, where he was also an active member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
