Details: Jack Thompson, 64, a 26 year resident of Severna Park and formerly of Pasadena died on June29, 2009 at Genesis Severna Park Center. Mr. Thompson was born in Monrovia, Maryland on July 22, 1944 to the late Victor L. and Luella C. Thompson. He had 41 years of service with Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman. Mr. Thompson was a US Marine from 1963-1967. He was active with a Marine Group in the area that receives the incoming Marines from Iraq and Afghanistan. He also enjoyed golfing and was an active member of the Northrup Grumman Golf League. Mr. Thompson’s family includes his wife of 44 years Lana J. Thompson, his sons Rodney C. Thompson and his wife Irene M. of Pasadena and Ryan M. Thompson and his wife Denise M. of Severna Park, his daughter Rochelle D. Jenkins and her husband Brian D. of Severna Park, his brothers David Thompson and his wife Joan of WV, Herman Thompson and his wife Patsy of MD, Robert Thompson and his wife Elaine of Woodbine, MD, the late Paul Thompson who is survived by his wife Bonnie of Ellicott City, the late Donald Thompson, his sisters Betty Plunkard and her husband Clyde of Boonesboro, MD, Gloria Ecker of Laurel MD and her husband the late Robert, Evelyn Curtain and her husband Les of Catonsville, MD, the late Nannie Main and her husband William, the late Rose Seal and her husband Luther, his grandchildren Kaila E. Jenkins, Kasey M. & Elizabeth A. Thompson, 90 nieces and nephews, his mother in law Ella Mae Ramsburg of Frederick, MD, his brother in law Richard CW Ramsburg & his wife Diane of Oakland, MD, and his devoted friends Donna Lavezzo, James Mundy, and Tom Welsh.
