Jack Rigsby, 69, of Goshen, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 surrounded by his family at home.

Jack was born on May 22, 1952 to the late Henry and Mable (Keaton) Rigsby in Paintsville, KY. He is married to Pamela (Thompson) Rigsby in 1978 in Paintsville, KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mable; and siblings, Curt, John, Ivy, Marie, Opal, Mag and Audie.

Jack is survived by his wife, Pam of Goshen; daughter, Tanya Sue Rigsby, also of Goshen; 3 grandchildren, Joyce (Brandan) Roberts, Devin (Sabrina) Cartwright and Sierra (Cameron) Mast; 6 great grandchildren; longtime family friend, Ralph Shaw of Goshen; brother-in-law, Steven Katzenburger of Goshen, brother, Jay (Sherry) Ferguson of Paintsville, KY, nephews, Michael (Malena) Fannin, Southie “Sy” (Reanna) Fannin III and Matthew (Kayla) Fannin and brother-in-law, Southie Fannin Jr. (Teresa) also of Paintsville.

Jack was a maintenance supervisor at Walmart #1566 in Dunlap for over 26 years. He was a hard worker even continuing to work after retirement. Jack loved all animals, particularly birds. He was an avid coin and stamp collector in his free time. Jack had a wonderful sense of humor and virtuous spirit. He was kind and never met a stranger.

Jack will be remembered as a family man and his family meant the world to him.
