Jackie “Jack” Owen Hill, 67, of Junction City, passed away on Jan. 3, 2014, at St John’s Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born Dec.19, 1946, in Iuka, son of Thomas Owen Hill and Alberta Lampkin Hill.

He married Patricia Tinsley on July 19, 1988, in Missouri, and she survives in Junction City. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hill is survived by one son, Matt Hill of Centralia; one stepson, Todd Webb and wife Lori of Centralia; three daughters, Alberta Nice and husband Rod of Dahlgren, Missy Beal of Hoffman and Nicole Nolte and husband Nicholas of Junction City; two sisters, Carolyn Hill and Patricia Bartley; grandchildren David, Dustin, Josh, Rochel, Brittany, Gabe, Aiden, Adilee and soon to be born, Creedyn; and special friends, Brenda and Chris Albright and Richard Samson, Bobby Edwards and Eddie. He was preceeded In death by his parents; an infant niece, Brandy; and brother-in-law, Mike Bartley.

Mr. Hill was a truck driver for more than 30 years. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He loved his family very much and enjoyed his time with them and the many adventures they shared together. His relationship with God was a private matter to him. He was a veteran of the Army and his service record included Vietnam.
