Jack Luther, 76, of Florence passed away March 30, 2014. He was born August 21, 1937 at Rockvale, Colorado to John and Florence (Langloss) Luther. He spent much of his youth traveling around the country with his family for his father’s work before coming back home and graduating with the FHS Class of 1955. After graduating he too traveled the country working in the construction field. It was during this time that he met Linda Gray, the love of his life whom he married in 1958. Jack took up leather-craft, a hobby he enjoyed along with his wife. He also loved feeding the birds that would show up each day in his yard. Jack leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years, children; Tammy Overbey and Frank Luther; siblings, Richard, Karen, Virginia, Teresa, Juanita, Leona, Paula, Janet, Herbert, John and Mick and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his special cousin, Lenore Clements and Aunt Wilma Fuller. He was preceded by his parents and siblings; Betty, Carol, Larry and Greg.
