Jack Lyman McDonald, 80, of Lochbuie entered into rest on July 3, 2015 at his home, surrounded by loved ones. Jack was born on November 29, 1934 in Colorado Springs to Clarence and Edna McDonald. He married Biviana Laing on June 25, 2014 in Brighton.
Jack had a very distinguished career working for the Bureau of Reclamation, and as an independent mainframe computer programmer for Martin Marrieta, IBM, Ideal Concrete and Montgomery Ward.
Jack was an outdoorsman who loved horses and the mountains. He always said, ” I like old people, babies and animals”. His favorite quote, always with a smile on his face was, ” I am half honest”.
He is survived by his loving wife: Biviana McDonald, sons: Jeffery McDonald, John McDonald; daughter: Sue Emerson; grandchildren: Stephanie Emerson, Cody (Kay) Emerson, Elizabeth Ann (Sean) McCammond and Jennifer Marie McDonald; great-grandchildren: Taylor Grace McCammond, Alexis Joanie McCammond, Wyatt Andrew McCammond, and Hendrix Emerson; two brothers, David and Danny and one sister, Darlene.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother William; son, Michael McDonald and his first wife.
